We are Aurora Music Academy!
Aurora Music Academy (AMA), located in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, has over 150 talented students enrolled from nearby neighborhoods, including but not limited to, Englewood Cliffs, Fort Lee, Edgewater, Tenafly, Teaneck, Saddle River and Palisades Park.
Founded in 2021 by former Areté Music Academy manager Kaitlyn Barnes, Aurora Music Academy seeks to build on Areté’s legacy of excellence in instruction, and exemplary customer service. AMA is committed to providing a high caliber of music education, from elementary through advanced levels, to students of all ages.
Bringing musical instruction to Englewood Cliffs since 2021
At AMA, our top priority is always what is best for each individual student. We know that no two students are alike, and we work with our students and their families to determine the which path is best for them. We believe that the relationship between teacher and student is critical to success and we work hard to find the best match for each student.
Assignment of teacher is determined based on the student’s needs, goals, past experience, and availability. In order to ensure our students are assigned to the teacher that will best fulfill their needs, new students have the opportunity to meet with a teacher for a 15-minute complimentary consultation to determine compatibility before registering.
Prioritizing our students and their musical abilities
Our faculty is comprised of experienced and dedicated teaching artists who have received their formal training at prestigious programs at conservatories and universities all over the world.
In addition to private lessons, we also offer early childhood music classes, beginner instrumental group classes, beginner and advanced chamber ensembles, kids and teens musical theatre intensives, summer programs, as well as faculty and student concerts throughout the year.
